 The Ghostcriers Investigative Process
Ghostcriers does not charge for our service, however we accept donations to help pay for our travel expenses (I.E. fuel, room & board) and equipment. We hope you will help us progress the paranormal science of ghostly activity.
We respect your privacy and keep all of our investigations confidential regarding who has contacted us.
Four Steps
We conduct our work by following a strict four step approach to our investigations:
- Gather Information- Using your form as a guide, we interview you, note and collate the data. Our historian researches the history of the property (site) and notes specific details (E.I. yr. built? deaths? etc.). Then we present the information to our investigative group.
- Investigate the site- The investigative group goes to the site prior to the formal investigation. They do this so they thoroughly understand the environment of the haunting.
The site will be staked out for three to six hours with equipment including digital recorders, cameras, etc.
- Analyze the data- We review the notes, sightings and experience of the team, as well as reviewing video and audio recordings of the event. Conducting experiments, if necessary.
- Presentation- A video documentary of the investigation will be presented to you along with a hard copy packet of our findings. We'll have a final discussion about how you want the material to be shown on line.
