Aaron G. Thompson - Founder and Lead Investigator

Born in Rock Island, IL, Aaron has been interested in the paranormal as far back as he can recall. At 14, he began educating himself about this sublime life mystery.

In the year 2000, Aaron began investigating places rustled by ghosts. In 2003, he confirmed his first full frontal apparition.

Aaron and two other observers walked through Post Cemetery in Mackinac Island, MI. They were seeking a 1840's ghost named Leon. A ghost which all three of them witnessed.

"He looked at me after I said to another investigator, dude, he's right in front of you! The spirit was about six foot tall. Wearing a wide brim hat and sporting a beard, he moved like a flip book animation. After about six seconds, he faded from view," recalls Aaron.

Aaron is currently a successful team lead at his place of employment in Davenport, IA, with a top ten fortune 500 company.  His goal is to create a business environment for Ghostcriers and the investigation of paranormal activity - to advance the condition of modern discovery. He also seeks to bring enough evidence to the surface in the hope it will help improve human existence as we know it today.

Nick Simons - Field Investigator

Born in Denton, TX, Nick’s inquiries about the paranormal began after his grandfather passed away and his grandmother told him stories of grandpa stopping by and saying, “Hi.”

Nick has had interest in the paranormal world since 2001.  Educating himself on investigative techniques, and pursued groups to learn more about ghosts… spirits.

At one moment in his life he witnessed a phenomenon in which a storm was showing a presentation of nature as he gazed out a window.  A window that led to a passerby staring back at Nick; he was a very tall man standing in the rain, it had no facial features and appeared to have faint glowing eyes.  The figure disappeared with the wind; it blew like a dusty – dark mass swirling away.

Nick presently works very keenly as a production operator in Davenport, IA.  The goal Nick has with Ghostcriers is to adhere to the professional attitude of the team and assist the community to progress the science of paranormal investigation.  He wants to understand what makes something residual in a haunting situation, as well as what truly makes a bad ghost… bad.
